As you can see - I am absolutely bored and procrastinating from doing work - so I made of list of past and future NRC brides so we can all know where to get info, reviews, opinions and pictures from. Hope this helps everyone! I am sure I missed some past brides and some future brides - I'll still look for more though...

It was really good. We were seated in the cocktail hour room. I am stuffed! The only think I didn't like was the Salmon. I guess we will go with a different fish next time. Hmm, wonder why they didn't serve us dessert.
Girls, we chose the perfect hall!!!

Yes, I went to the tasting too!!!
And I asked George why there was no dessert. My family and FMIL are huge dessert fans. He said its just a tasting of the food. They let me take some home for FH who is working.
Food was delicious.
I dont like the lobby area. Too business like. I liked it the other way. BOOO

I'm soooo excited too! I'm so glad to hear that the tastings are wonderful, I haven't been back since I put down my deposit in October, so I'm nervous, but I have faith in them that they won't do anything to drastic or crazy!!

BCTM, I was there too! Would you mind FM-ing me pricing when you get a chance? And are you having the Sinatra guy also?
Thanks so much!

NYPDsGIRL you have FM! We didn't plan on having the Sinatra singer - but my fiance thought he was great last night so we might add him. I wonder how much he costs....

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
I know I have posted before about the cake - here is an update. At the tasting I spoke to Jenny and she told me that they can make my chocolate cake. I still am not a fan of the pictures I have seen in the past, but she said even though I never made a chocolate cake before they could work with my to get me whatever I wanted.
This put my mind at ease!!

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
I am having them make a carrot cake with cream cheese icing and they said it was no problem. When I went for my tasting I asked if I would be able to try the cake before the wedding and George assured me if it was very important to me they would figure out a way to let me try the cake before the wedding. This made me feel a lot better!

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
I am confused. Please clarify!
Did brides have problems with the NRC getting the kind of cake they wanted? I thought you could really have any thing you wanted within reason.
What about the design? Is there only one or can I tell them what I want it to look like? Do we have the option of stacked or teired?

Re: Official North Ritz Club Thread
I was told initially you can decide between stack or tiered, but I really didnt like the pictures of the cakes of have seen from past NRC brides. Also, as my colors are brown and pink - we want a chocolate cake with pink ribbons. I was just concerned that they wouldnt be able to do this - but they are. So I am happy.

I want a chocolate cake too!! Jenny said they could do whatever I want. I'm sure it'll be fine---I'm not about to go pay another $1000 plus for a cake--I am not expecting the cake to be perfect, that way i won't be dissapointed--it's just the cake anyway
