Long Island Engagement Announcements

After 3 years of dating, Steven and I got engaged on November 24, 2006. This is how he asked. We went to the city to see Phantom of the Opera, and do the city tourist thing. We went on a horse and buggy ride and right then and there I thought it was going to happen, but to get me worked up he DIDN't ask, I was so mad and said to myself OK it's not going to happen tonight. Then we walked around, and went to a ton of stores. Tiffany's was one of them I started to try on rings and got even more upset at that point I was ready to go home I couldn't take it anymore I thought it was the big day but Steve kept me off track. So then we wind up in Rockefeller center he takes me to a little spot and tells me to look up at the tree, 'See how shiny that star is I said 'yeah' he said 'not as shiny as this' he then took out the box and asked he wasn't down on one knee at first and I gave a good punch in the stomach and he got down it was funny he said the nicest things and I was in shock I couldn't talk. Workers for Rockefeller center got a glimpse of what was going on and started to cry and was so happy the stranger took my camera and started to take pictures. It was a great night, Steve did a great job. We had dinner reservations at the 'PALM' on 50th street we celebrated with champagne, lobster, and steak it was a romantic & memorable night. We are so happy and want to enjoy being engaged for a while, we will be planing a 2008 wedding. Congratulations and best wishes to both.
