Joe and I went to dinner at Hudson & McCoy which is on the nautical mile in Freeport. 3 years ago we started dating so we went to dinner to celebrate. We were a little early for dinner so we walked down to the pier at the end of the strip. It was so nice being by the water, Joe said we would come back after dinner. We went to eat dinner, I had linguini with clam sauce (my favorite!), Joe had swordfish. We were talking about where we were 3 years ago and reminiscing. After dinner we drove back down to the pier. The fish were jumping out of the water, it looked like fireworks in the water (fishworks!). The sun started to set and we sat down on a bench. He proposed while the sun was setting. I looked at him and said 'Are you serious', he opened the box and put the ring on my finger. We don't have a date set yet, but we are looking to get married next August!
