Welcome and best wishes to Elizabeth and Christopher and their families: Patricia: and Cathy and Fred. The happy couple: A Nanny and Graduate Student and a Senior Technician from Amityville were engaged on February 14, 2009 at Gilgo Beach. 'We went out to eat at Chester's for Valentine's Day. It was a very romantic dinner. After dinner, Chris said that he wanted to take a ride down to the beach. We drove down to Gilgo planning on getting out of the car and walking on the beach but it was a very cold night so we just parked the car facing the bay, it was a beautiful view. We listened to music, held hands, talked, and looked at the view. Chris kept smiling the most cheesy smile at me and I figured that something was going on but I had no idea that he was going to propose! Chris took both of my hands and looked at me with a huge grin on his face and asked me to marry of him. I said yes...of course! We immediately grabbed the phone and started calling our family and friends and they we went out to the Bulldog to celebrate. It was the perfect night!' They look forward to an August 29, 2009 celebration in Amityville. We wish them all the very best.
