Nicole & Marc

We are happy to announce the engagement of Nicole to Marc and to extend our congratulations to them and their respective families: Susan//Hank, and Bruce; and Maria and Kenny.
The happy couple: A Special Education Teacher and an It Security Professional were engaged on August 28, 2010 in Atlantic City at the Borgata Water Club.
'The plan was to meet a couple in AC for the night. The seed was planted a week prior that this couple had to meet us there because they had an appointment to see a photographer for their wedding that day. When Marc and I arrived in AC, Marc told me that we had an upgrade for the room because of some specific credit card. Without second guessing Marc, I said 'ok'. Marc and I went up to the room dropped off their stuff and went to the pool. After the pool, Marc and I went up to the room to get ready for dinner. At that time, Marc got a call from the couple saying that they are running late and probably won't make it for dinner but drinks and dessert were on them when they got there. Marc and I went to dinner at the Old Homestead. They enjoyed a nice dinner. When dinner was over, Marc told me that the other couple was there and to meet them in their room for some drinks. Marc and I went up to the floor where the rooms where. As soon as we got to the floor, Marc said his stomach is feeling a little off and that he needs to go to the room for a minute (this would happen from time to time) I was annoyed because I was waiting all day for the other couple to arrive that I said to Marc, 'you go to the room and I will go the other couples room.' Marc then said their room is 3092 (which was the opposite way of Marc and Nicoles room) When I reached 3092, there was a do not disturb sign on the door. I was unsure what that was about so she started to walk back to their room. While on the phone with my mother, a call was coming through and it was Marc. I clicked over and he said that they weren't in the room yet. I started walking back to the room , Marc came out of his room and said who are you on the phone with? Being that I was annoyed already I used my snarky tone and said 'don't worry about it' As I approached the room even closer, Marc said I got you something little. I told my mom that I needed to go and when I looked in the room it was dark with candles all around and all I could see is this purple box. As I walked to the box I was very confused as to what it was. When I opened the box it was a statue of a boy down on one knee proposing to a girl and the ring was in there was well. When I turned to the left, he was down on one knee asking me to marry him. I said yes as I was shaking like crazy. He then told me to turn around and there was his iphone recoding the entire thing. As soon as i turned on the lights, there were rose petals everywhere and there was a heart shape out of rose petals on the bed. IT WAS AN AMAZING NIGHT!!!'
They look forward to an August 13, 2011 celebration of love.
