Congratulations and all the best to Melissa and Michael and to their respective families: Iris and Jeff; Gail and Alan.
The two: A Recruiter and a Teacher from Babylon and Queens respectively were engaged on April 2, 2011 at a garage in Douglaston.
'He proposed in his garage, as I pulled in on Saturday afternoon. He said 'pick a hand' and I thought he was kidding. So I picked, wrong at first of course, then wrong again! So he hands me the box, and I said 'I am not opening a box!' and he pulled the ring from behind his back, as the box was empty. He got halfway to kneeling, and I said 'you have to kneel' and he said 'but it's dirty!' LOL! So he asked me to 'take the plunge with him' and I SAID YES, of course! '
They look forward to a July 1, 2012 celebration of love at The Venetian Yacht Club.
