3-5 Day Weekend Ideas? (Hamptons or Montauk)

Hi all, Seems like alot of us are planning little getaways..:) I would love some of your feedback on where to stay in the Hamptons or possibly Montauk. Neither of us have ever been out there, so i'm not sure exactly what town/hotels/areas to stay in that we can pass 3-5 days.... We may do 2 different weekends (one in July-August) and one in late September... I dont mind a party-crowd area, doesnt have to be 'quiet and romantic' - just throw your ideas at me. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated ! Thanks very much ladies ! anna

Anna, I took my husband, there for his birthday a couple of years ago. We stayed at the Oceanside Beach Resort, and really loved it. Here is a website that may be of some help http://www.montauklife.com/

I will look into it, thanks for the info! (The prices are astronomical this time of year, huh ??) I've called several places, they are all ranging in the $250-450 per nite (yikes!) I can fly somewhere and stay a week for that price. I will definately look into the one you mentioned. Thanks again :) anna Are there any other locations out east (north fork or south fork) that are work visiting for 3 days. ? Thanks everyone !
