4/27 Official 'I didn't want the weekend to end' Thread

I DIDN'T WANT THE WEEKEND TO END!

It was the best weekend of the year so far!! I was soooo happy being out in the sun and doing so many fun things!!

I am so with you!! We spent all day yesterday at the beach, it was so nice. I'm a little burned but the pain was worth it! <-thats my sunburned face

I knoooooow. Yesterday was a little too hot for me, but just the fact that the sun was out was nice. I was in CT for a shower but got home kinda early so I got a haircut and then DH and I took the dog and went to Port Jeff and walked around. Everyone had the same idea though but it was nice. Then we had dinner outside at a bar in Huntington - good times!

Amazing weekend! BBQ, hanging with DH and being out in the sunshine. SOOO sad to be back in office, with freezing cold AC blasting on my head while I work..

LOL.. no that is 'The big duck' on the East End of long island. It has been around for YEARS as a tourist spot and store.

Between the weather and this going-back-to-work thing, last night and this morning was horrible.

I know what it feels like now for new moms to have to go back to work after 3 months of being off (minus leaving the kid at home ) or teachers who are off for the summer and have to go back. It STINKKKKKS. Imagine being off for 3 months and then just having to start back in again, 5 days a week. It's a very VERY hard adjustment to have to make! I keep saying to myself, oh, I need to clean the bedroom, I'll do it tomorrow afternoon. Nope, I'll be WORKING then. It's weird!!!!

yes it was beautiful. Although I spent my sat in school, but at least I enjoyed the trip.

Me too! I was in Boston for my friends shower and bach BUT got home sunday at 3pm so I feel like I have spent no time with DH ya know ?

YES! I was away too, got home around 3:30 yesterday - we spent the rest of the day together but it wasn't enough!

I definitely had the best weekend in a really , really long time.

Saturday afternoon I got to DH's cousins house. We left right away and got stuck in MAJOR, HELLISH, traffic on the NJ Turnpike. I think there was a big fire, and people died DH told me. Stuck for HOURS.

But, it was me, his cousin and her cousin in the car. We laughed, listened to awesome music, danced in the car. I tried to get the truck drivers to honk the horn for me, and not one did :( I guess I just wasn't purdy enough for them lol

We got to Philly at about 7:30. Got to the hotel room and relaxed for a minute. Walked over to the Wachovia Center. Saw KOL, and it changed my life a little. Most amazing show ever. Had one beer, and got wasted lol :( I didn't eat since Friday afternoon. I had a beer at 9:00 at night SAturday, so I had nothing in my belly.

Got to the hotel room, ordered the most amazing cheesesteak ever and went to bed. Slept until about 9:00 and hit the road home. It was a gorgeous day! Such an amazing weekend.
