92.3 K-Rock Transition

92.3 was the only current rock station on the radio and they switched it yesterday to TOP 40!!! Its now competing with Z100 and KTU. For Gods sake like we dont have enough crap music stations??? Thank God for Sirius

I'm so angry at this! We have enough! And the best part; Clear Channel owns all 3 (Z-100, KTU, and now WOW) why do they need to compete if it's owned by the same corporation???

Thank god for 92.9 EHM and 101.9 RXP!

I always tell DH, independent rock bands dont pay stations off which is why you dont really hear them on regular radio. The money is in Top 40 because the record labels pay all the stations off to keep the songs on the Top 10 playlist. Its sad.

Exactly!!! I like to listen to KTU and Z100 as well, but for the most part I dont b/c its the same songs, over and over and I just get sick of it.

I heard about sirius charging for that. Luckily we were spared because we have the lifetime membership.

I am not a Rock music fan but this it is insane that they took away the only rock station I feel bad for all your rockers

Sirius is owned by XM right? Maybe that's why?

They did merge with XM, but I think it's b/c they are losing money and have been. which shocks me b/c i love sirius.

Remember that awesome radio station on 92.7 I forget the name b/c it's been so long...then one day I turn it on and it was taken over by a Spanish music station.
