92.3 was the only current rock station on the radio and they switched it yesterday to TOP 40!!! Its now competing with Z100 and KTU. For Gods sake like we dont have enough crap music stations??? Thank God for Sirius

ITA, i used to love k-rock and we so don't need another top 40 station. I've been listening to Sirius online every day at work and now they are going to start charging for online listening so i am PIIISSSSEED

i want to protest or something.

Sirius is owned by XM right? Maybe that's why?

They merged and now they're Sirius XM. All I know is they aren't doing well.

I feel bad for O&A - for the 2nd time in a row they've come to work at 92.3 and were told ; 'you're off the air'

I used to love that station... It was called LIR.... Radio nowadays just sukcs... it's the same crap over and over again.... and all good radio stations get eaten by the bad ones who play the same mindless drivel! It's all a ploy to get you to pay for radio that should be free! lol

They really do! That station was awesome!

Do you remember they used to have the face-offs between 2 songs every night and people could vote... and it was songs you never heard, like up-and-coming artists... it was the best

They played something for everybody, anybody could listen and like it.... the format was better... overall one of the better stations..... and they wouldn't beat a song to death... sometimes they'd play a great song and you'd never hear it again! they should resurrect it from the dead... RIP 92.7 indeed.... maybe we should petition it! lol

I stopped listening to the radio when 92.7 WDRE went off the air years ago. I mostly listen to CDs or Q104.3.

Just like TV - too much garbage on the radio!!!

I never liked radio to begin with. Every station seemed to play the same top 10 songs all day long. I listen to PLJ while at work b/c the woman I share the room with has it on and she has been here longer so I can't complain. It's just the same crap over and over and over again. I don't know how they stay on the air!

Now 92.3 was really bad after Howard left, I mean they had David Lee Roth show, and other crap. Then they started playing some good stuff again and now this? It sukcs that this has to happen, but I guess that's what happens when you have a majority of people listening to crap all day long lol


101.9 is the only station I listen to now whenever I am in the car b/c I love Matt Pinfield and all of his stories and him giving all of his music history. I love the station and how knowledgeable they are.

I remember listening to 'Live from the Dublin Pub' every Friday or Saturday evening on WDRE. I always swore that I would go there once I turned 21 - too bad they went off the air before that. I can't pass the Dublin Pub without my mom saying 'remember when you wanted to go there in high school'.

I actually wrote a lengthy email to PLJ once telling them how badly they sukced and how I can't possibly believe that everyone calls in requesting these same songs over and over, and how I wish they would think about changing up the format a bit. I just went on a rant lol They never got back to me.

I don't mind hearing some top 10 songs, but not all day long, in a row right after the other.

I used to listen to Z100 in the morning just for the talk show, they were funny, but I think Elvis can be a bit rude to listeners sometimes and ever since 101.9 came on I haven't looked back. Once I heard Social Distortion played on the radio, that was the icicng on the cake for me.

I love when listeners calls up and say a random number and Matt Pinfield plays that Number song on his Ipod! Always, great, and always random!!

What other radio station could you have Muse play one minute and Ray Lamontagne next?!?

I have to say I love the Z100 morning show so that's what I usually have on. But that ***** that they transitioned. I think top 40 is covered.
