The reporter says 'what will you do financially?' and he said, 'what is financially?'

No way he's 13. He looks alot younger! They were talking (making fun kinda) on PLJ this morning. They played an audio clip of the kid and a reporter. He voice hasnt even changed yet. He sounds like a little girl.

wow that is crazy! Although I have to say that this boy is taking more responsibility than a lot of other teenagers. no, he doesn't have any way to financially support the baby or mother, but he seems very nurturing to the baby. But what the hell was a 12 year old doing having sex??? He obviously knew what he was doing since he got her pregnant! The whole thing is really weird, but i hope that the parents help them out and that the baby could have a normal life.

as sick as it is, I'm impressed that he is so nurturing to the child. Holding her properly, kissing her... in the video he's looking at her and smiling at her...

I know it's not an ideal situation, but at least he's willing to be part of the little girls life.

my i feel so sad for him.. he looks so lost and confused.. its another case of poor parenting.. both kids come from broken homes and its so sad..

this def could be b/c of bad parenting -i'm not arguing that at all.....but i knew kids that had sex at that age - and when my sister was that age she knew kids doing it too...i mean kids i was friends with, kids from the neighborhood - none of them seemed like they came from bad homes with bad parents.....i think there are so many influences out there....just turn on the TV and its sex, sex, sex.....so i don't think every kid that experiments does it b/c they have bad parents.....i don't know, i'm scared to be a parent b/c its like everytime a kid messes up its b/c 'the parents are no good' KWIM?

hopefully it stays that way - and he doesn't get over it when he realizes all the things he can do with his life - like when he gets to be an older teen and wants to have a life....instead he'll be stuck home with a 4 year old....hopefully he doesn't become a jerk....

i don't know, i have so many mixed feelings about this....this kid should get to be a kid - i feel like he is going to miss out on so much....and then at the same time, i'm like if he wanted to have this baby then too bad and he doesn't get to be a kid b/c he has to take care of his responsibility.....i don't know....its so weird....

I completely agree with that- my cousin was raised in a catholic, loving home- but still had a baby ridiculously early.

i hear ya!! im scared to have kids too! if 13 year olds are having BABIES today - what are13 year old gonna be doing when i have kids? running a whoree house?!

i did family therapy for 2 years with teenagers who are in the juvinille justice system and it really does have A LOT to do with parenting... some of these parents didnt even KNOW who their kids friends were... sometimes they didnt even know WHERE their kid was at 10pm at night... CRAZY!
