A Game I Play With DH's Dentist
Ok, so my DH has a stalker dentist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He hasn't been back for his check-up. He needs to go, he knows he needs to go ... but he's thinking about switching dentists but isn't sure, so he just hasn't done anything.
They sent a post-card reminder, with a discount off the cost if he comes within that month. That was like 4 months ago![]()
Then they started calling EVERY SINGLE MORNING! They'd call right when I was walking out of my house to go to work. At first I didn't realize it was going to ALWAYS be them ... so I'd run back up the stairs and into the house to answer the phone. I kept telling them he's not home, and I would tell him they called. It made me so![]()
after a while.
Eventually they realized that he's just not home at 10am. So they'd vary the times when they'd call. But still ... without fail ... every single day. I was nice to them for a while, but its just crazy! So then I tried the 'when he's ready to make an appointment, he'll call you .... you do not have to call him!' approach. It didn't work!![]()
Now its down to a couple times a week.
But here's the game I started playing: They call. I pick up the phone. I hang up the phone. They don't call back that day.![]()
Its bordering on harassment now, I think!![]()
