See I keep my promises and I promise to post my good wedding pictures once I get them back from my photographer!
We definitely need to re-do the landscaping and DH is not crazy about the blue garage door and that gate has got to go ... but this is our first home!

Re: A pic of our house ... to prove Shamma wrong!
Anna ... do we have the same 'family'!!! My mom is always saying .... 'well, you know honey, Rome wasn't built in a day'!! 'You see that tree in the backyard, money doesn't grow on it'!!!
As for couping with the renovations, we are lucky, because we are staying in an apartment above my parents while we are doing renovations, rent free and private! So, we are comfortable and in no real rush ... although I would love to move in sooner than later. But with this winter, I don't mind moving in in the spring!
And Stef, LOL, I thought the same thing as you about the chimney at first!!!
Thanks again laides for all your compliments and advice!!!

Re: A pic of our house ... to prove Shamma wrong!
Cira, How funny ! My mom always says that, along with a gazillion other sayings in Italian, lol.
She's always like 'God Bless you all for being able to buy homes at 25 years old as you got married !' (in other words, be happy, dont take it for granted !!!) and then of course she gives herself credit for raising us to be good 'savers' lol.
My parents own a 6 family house in Astoria, and my dad always joked about all 4 of us kids, taking one apartment each when we got married. He was more than happy to do it, we were just like 'uhmm, no thanks' ! Astoria has changed alot, thank God they just moved to Middle Village.. :)
John was in the house a month before we got married and then I came in. It was move-in condition so we lucked out. You just start getting all these visions of how you want to personalize every little inch of the house and then as the babies come the priority order changes !
