After receiving your album layouts did you make any changes to it? I just received mine and i was a little disappointed. I would like to make a few changes to it.
Also, did you receive layouts for the parents' albums? TIA

I made changes to my album layout. I received my layout in pdf format. I asked for 2 changes : There was a picture of my mom walking down the aisle which hadn't been included and I asked them to include it even though it wasn't the best quality. The photographer was fine with that. I also changed the photo that was on the last page of the album.
When I emailed the photographer, I made sure to mention that I loved the layout, it was just that for sentimental reasons, i wanted to include the photo of my mom.
For my parents' album, they had a traditional style album and I made the layout myself for that one and gave to the photographer which is how he wanted it.

Yes we made a few changes and had a lot of back and forth emails about the layouts.
Parents' albums were traditional so we didn't need to see them.

I made changes to my layout once I receive the design proof. You have to be happy. Don't settle!

i made like 2 minor changes. but if i were disappointed and wanted a bunch of stuff changed, i would not hesitate to communicate that to my photographer. you spent a lot of money of the pics and the album is the finished product, you should be happy with what you receive. good luck!

Yes, we did some changes to our album layout then and there with the photographer. This is your $$ that you're paying, so if you don't like it, fix it so you do like it!

Yes, I did. I had a near nervous breakdown when I first saw my album layout. Then, after going back a second time, I realized it wasn't that bad, I just needed to put in my personal touches to really love it. My favorite pictures they made small or black and white. They never asked me which were my favorites, initially.

We made a lot of changes to the first draft - well over half the pages had changes (78 pages). We made changes to the second draft too - about 10 pages to change.
We did not order parent albums from our photographer but they are a mini version of our album with the option to changes some of the spreads.

i just sent all my changes on mine to the photographer. the first half of the album, i just didn't feel like it flowed. i made a lot of changes. the 2nd half of the album i think they did a good job. parent albums are traditional, so i'm not getting a layout - when i go in to pick up the albums, they show me the actual pictures (32 5x7's i think we did) and then they physically put them into the slots in the album in front of me, so i can finalize the order then.
