anniversary gift ideas

We said we weren't going to buy eachother anything because we're trying to save $ but now i feel like i want to get him something.

he told me he was getting me a card & flowers (i don't know why he felt the need to tell me )
he's not really the romantic kind so i don't think he has any other big surprise or gift but i still want to get him something

what did you girls give DH on your anniversary, if anything - just wondering

besides our trip to Newport, we each got each other small gifts. He got me flowers and a porcelin anniversary bell. I made him a calendar on shutterfly with different pics of me each month. It was around $30 with shipping and I got it pretty quick, less than a week.

DH wants the titanium Met's necklace so I'm getting him that...otherwise our trip is our gift to each other.

I went with the paper theme and printed out my own card and wrote a personalized poem for him.
I know .. kinda gay. .. but he loved it

I got money as the paper gift

don't know yet, i still have 8 months to decide. But might do day after pics or do boudoir pics together. DH asked if we were gonna do day after pics or something lol, so thought it'd be nice if we did one of those on our anniversary. So that would go with the whole paper part. But i also will probably get him something too, just have no clue yet.
