Annoyed at DH/ Xmas related

I've been DONE w/ my shopping for weeks. Last night, DH says that all he wants for Xmas is a surround sound/ home theater system.

Ummm....we live in a 1BR apt and he doesn't even watch movies. R U kidding me? Why did he wait until now to tell me? Ok, I understand he wants to play video games in surround sound. Most places r sold out of good ones. Also, I would have bought one weeks (or months) ago on sale. I am so annoyed.
I found a decent Sony one but it's backordered (and it was on sale for 1/2 price a few weeks ago).

Then last week he comes into the bedroom (mind you i'm done with my shopping) and says, 'i need A,B,C, D and I want X,Y,Z video games'



GOOD, put it on your list for NEXT year.

I feel your pain.

As for the surround sound system -- hold off. It is not something you just want to a get a decent on or get one just to get it. We have been doing so much research on them and I have discovered you want to wait for the right one and save up because they aren't cheap either!

get him a surround sound headset!!!!!!!!!!!

my dad has one - he LOVES it - and i mean LOVES it...it's incredible!!!

if you are interested - i can find out which one he has....

he plays all his video games and watches all his movies with them on - so he doesn't bug my mom!

DH is annoyed at ME because he said we agreed on no christmas gifts. We talked about this at one point but then said, no, let's make it a $50 limit. Then, it was a $100 limit because what can you get with $50. I spent $200 because I know he will spend more anyhow.

But, he said he didn't plan on getting me anything and has no money set aside. Last year he said the same thing and I got a laptop.

So now *I* am annoyed at *him* because he makes me think he didn't get me anything every year and always does.

when is his bday? maybe you can get him the surround system for his bday instead.

I agree with the Bday.

Although that never works for me because DH bday is 12/20 so he would have to wait a whole year anyway.

There will be other sales, you can get it for his Bday.
