did you wait until you had them all written to send them or did you send some as soon as you had written them? Just trying to see what the consensus is...
(Im afraid to send them out in groups in case the family starts talking & one says 'oh I got Laurie & Thomas' TY card' and then someone else may be like 'hmmm...I didnt get MINE yet' )
So tell me ladies...what did you do?

We didn't do ours yet (we still have to pick one!) but what friends of our did was mail them out in shifts, here's an example:
Group 1-Bride's family Group 2-Bride's friends Group 3-Groom's family Group 4-Groom's friends Group 5-Work colleagues Group 6-Vendors

We did family the first day, I did mine, he did his. Sent them all in the same day.
Next day we did the first half of our friends and sent em...and the day after that, the second half.
I did my colleagues myself, I hand wrote regular stationary cards to them and they were done like 2 weeks before the rest of the TYs...
They're all out now except one! Because they moved...

I'm bringing the last 25 to do on the plane to FL.
I just ordered xmas cards today so I've GOTTA get these mailed PRONTO!!!!

Our photographer only gave us 75 cards instead of the 100 we were supposed to get... so since we had to wait for the other 25 we started sending them out in groups. But like, we made sure everyone on my mom's side was done, then DH's friends, etc. so people who knew each other all got it at the same time.
And we're STILL waiting for the other 25 cards, hopefully we get them Saturday when we go to do our album layout!

The only ones i didnt send out yet were the parents, vendors, and some last min additions whose addresses i dont have...

Thats ridiculous btw. People don't understand how long they take to get and how hard they are to do!
I got one last year from someone that was married in May, that DOUBLED as a Xmas card and barely even had a personal message. So tell your fam to shove it!

I sent them in groups as well. I basically went down the alphabet and when a 'group' of friends, family members, etc was done, I'd mail them. It was nice to send 5 or 6 at a time and just get them out.

I wrote 25 at a time until i finished 150 TY's & then sent them all out at once. I sent them out 3 months after my wedding.
