Okay - so DH is ALWAYS making jokes about how even tho we're a married couple now, I STILL have to lock him out of the bathroom. Like if I'm on the toilet - that's gross, i ALWAYS have to lock the door. But it's also if I'mjust in the shower. I don't know. The bathroom is just one place that I need complete privacy. It's not as though he's never seen me without clothes on - but it's just something about being in the shower. It's forbidden! lol. Not sure why that is.
Just wondering if anybody else has this same issue. It's not really even an issue for us though, he just always makes fun of me when I lock the door. We always joke about me getting tight bult for it, just in case! I know he wants us to take a shower together sometimes and I'd probably be okay with it if we're not actually doing it to get get 'clean' But if I'm like washing my hair and shaving my armpits - then, no. I need my space.
Anybody else? Or am I the only freak of nature

I dont think you're a freak- just like your privacy, nothing wrong with that. We have one bathroom, so I only lock him out for toilet time. if i'm in the shower, he'll brush his teeth or wash his face.
i cant wait till we get another bathroom (someday) because he constantly tries to talk to me in the shower- and I just want to have alone time and think- annoying!

HAHA I always locked the door to the bathroom when I was growing up, and when I was living with his parents obviously. I don't lock it now, heck sometimes I don't even close the door. I know some people will think its gross but, sometimes I have to go pee so badly that I don't close the door and I figure Its my house, I can do what I want, and its just DH. Nothing he hasn't seen before anyway lol HE thinks its gross and tells me to close the door, but I don't care haha And when he is in the shower, he doesn't lock it. So I will come in and write messages on the mirror for him to see later on lol Sometimes he will even flash me while he is in there and start dancing, then I laugh at him and leave lol
I do just keep the door closed when I am showering. WE have showered together in the past many times and still do obviously, so it's not a big deal for me.
I don't think you are weird or anything, some people just liek their privacy. Who says that just b/c you are married or dating someone you should run around naked all the time? haha

we have no problem sharing bathroom space, no matter what's going on, especially since being in my in-laws basement and there's only one bathroom. for the most part we give each other privacy when pooping, but it's happened before where we've had to enter. yeah, there's no shame in our house.

Shower and peeing is fine but not #2. My friend she #2 with the bathroom open with all us girls around and her FH she doesnt care. i cant go that far.

I wont go to the bathroom with the door unlocked. If Im showering I dont lock the door.
DH will pee while Im in the bathroom brushing my teeth or something and it drives me nuts. I just think its gross. I always say Im going to lock the door when Im washing up but I forget.
