I have this one neighbor who lives awfully close (the houses in this neighborhood are not separated too well - another reason we refuse to do anything but RENT here). He gets home from work everyday at 4:00 or so and he just sits in his car for almost a half hour blasting his crazy old person music and singing along with it. Sooo funny. at first I thought that he just wanted to finish listening to a particular song (and that's normal - we've all done this). But then it was happening everyday and i began to wonder if there's a specific reason why he does not want to go inside after work. lol. What's even weirder is that he'll do this even while me & DH are outside. Like the other day we were on the driveway and DH was changing the oil in my car. Suddenly our neighbor pulls up and does it again - blasts his music and sings along with it. It made DH sooooo awkward. hahahaha! What do you? You're standing like 3 feet from the guy and he's singing all crazy in his car. Do you look? Do you pretend that you can't hear it? So funny! (if it were ME, I would cease to sing with the neighbors standing right there within seeing & hearing distance. lol). But whatever! If it makes him happy - then i guess so be it

I grew up in the 'Bermuda Triangle' of weird neighbors - we've always said that unless you lived near us, you'd never believe the stories!!!

We are fairly close with two of our neighbors, but the people who live behind us, throw Pirate parties, they have pirate decorations all over their yard. They dress up like pirates the entire family. Just a wee bit strange.

We have one neighbor who Must have OCD!! It is so annoying! Like for example when raking up leaves on the front lawn the wife use the blower as she rakes. No big deal right? Well after they are done with that which is ALL FRIGGEN DAY we have to hear the damn blower going!! No mind you his lawn is perfect. Next he get outs a shop vac and starts vaccuming his lawn??? Are you F-ing kidding me!! That is just one of the many things he does obssesivley! His Driveway is so clean you can literally eat off it. LOL
But the thing thats pisses me off the most is when he washes all his engines (cars, lawnmowers,leaf blower, snow blower) Over the damn drain in front of our house. Yes His hose goes that far over!! Well mind you we live by A large lake. And our street drains go into that lake!! ONe day Iam going to call on him!! Poor Birds and FISH!!!

OMG...Shop vac the lawn? lol I have to see that one. We live in a house that is connected to the others around us, and I guess the walls/floors are just so thin. I heard them playing Rock Band the other day. While it's very cool b/c I love RB, It's annoying when I am trying to sleep at 2:00 in the morning :)
The first night DH and I slept in our new apartment, we had the same people (wherever they are , next door, or down stairs) blasting some weird teeny bopper music. The weird thing was, just before they played the music they sounded like a gang lol They were like 'ILL PUNCH YOU IN YOUR FACE, YOU MY N!GGA, BUT ILL PUNCH YOU' so I thought they were all hardcore, then I heard them singing along to Jonas Brothers or something lol I don't try to complain much b/c I know we make our own annoying noises, but seriously..so late at night?

The people above us are so loud!! And never sleep. i think they are warewoves or vampires. And I said this before I read Twilight. LOL. They are always dropping things on the floor- like weights or bricks or furniture or something. And they are always screaming at eachother or have loud sex. And they always blast their music so I can hear it clear as day. I hope they move soon. DH and I actually have had to complain cus sometimes we dont sleep cus they are sooo loud!!! I also don't think they work cus they are just loud all day- DH will be home sometimes during the day and said that they are still so loud!! And they vacuum at 3:30am often.

The biatchy old lady that lives in the garden co-op below mine ? Slams the doors like there's no tomorrow, yet bangs on the ceiling if I drop my purse. My walls have cracks in them ! Complained to the board that she doesn't like the garden. She can't open her windows or blinds. Board told her that I lived there for 8 years before she did, and that she saw the garden when she came to look at the apartment. If she didn't like it then, she should have looked for another apartment. Opening the blinds is her business, not theirs. Helps that the board really likes me. Never says hello, actually looks the other way.
The best, told one of my lovely elderly neighbors, Blanche, that Blanche is a nice lady because she is Jewish. Huh ? what's that got to do with it ? My nutty neighbor is Italian and I'm German. Am I nice now because I married a Jewish man ?

lol I wish I was home vacuuming at 3:30 lol :-P
We scream at the dog alot, and our neighbor smokes weed in the morning , so when I go to take the dog out I can smell it in my back yard.
There are some similarities! lol

haha!! I'm the same way! DH used to live in one of those houses where he only rented half and a stranger lived in the other half (it was side to side, not upstairs/downstairs). The walls seemed way too thin. I swear I could hear his neighbors constantly moving furniture and such. I would never vacuum at odd hours, or do ANYTHING that I feared could be noisy. Seriously it was insane. And I like to be a loud person. I like to just annoy DH and start singing all crazy like. I could NEVER do that there tho. So I'm really glad that we're in our own house now. lol. I never have to be paranoid about neighbors hearing us - - no matter WHAT'S going on inside our house lol
