so ive been a housewife now for 5 weeks.. maybe 6... its fun... i like being a woman of leisure.. and the house hasn't ever been cleaner haha... is anyone else a housewife? or am i the only one trying this out... how do you fill ur day when chores doesnt do it? my judge shows are all starting to get to repeats.. and the highlight of my day is the mail delivery haha i do hang out with my neighbor whos a stay at home mom with her 4 year old.. but u can only do that so long
i think i might do a pt job of some sort eventually to keep busy... or some volunteering like i used to do with underpriv. .kids from bad areas...

I am right now. I have been for about a month and i'm starting to hate it. As much as I dont want to go back to work, I'm so bored during the day. I find myself sleeping extremely late, waking up and cleaning a little. The highlight of my day is cooking dinner.
Money is terrible right now, so to be honest, I'll be hopping on the bandwagon to start working again very very soon.

i wish i could be a housewife!
how about finding out about some volunteer work? or maybe taking a class for fun at a local college---something silly nothing too crazy...cooking? knitting? scrapbooking? cake decorating? there are always classes and such you can find that you can learn to do these things.

I audition my butt off as an aspiring actress and do freelance makeup. but other than that i'm a housewife :) usually the housework & running errands (if i'm not auditioning) takes up time in my day...other wise i'll call my SIL or friends that live nearby and spend sometime in my neighborhood...i love just walking around since there's so much stuff around me(i live in forest hills). I'll also go to the gym or take a dance class. and i'm always on the search to find fun stuff in the area to do with DH

ps: i also go out to suffolk county once a week to do mentoring with underprivelegded kids...it's a great feeling - so the volunteer work is definetly a go I'm also considering picking up a part time job in the afternoon-early evening at this cute little boutique up the block...i think it'll be fun.

i plan to stay home when i have kids. i dont think i could be a stay at home wife b.c i would prob. be a lazy slob. i'd prob. spend most of the day watching cooking shows.

I would love to be a housewife!!!! There are so many things I want to do and because of my job I just don't have time. It's great to dream about it but because of $$$ it won't be happening any time soon.

i was a house wife for a few months and couldnt take it and had to go back to work lol im so glad i did!! i dont miss it at all! i plan on doing the house wife thing again once we get preggo

In between acting gigs I'm just a housewife. It's fun now since I'm redecorating the apartment and using all my nifty kitchen gadgets that I got from the shower but I plan on taking some acting and dance lessons once this stuff dies down.
