Anyone else watching American Idol and extremely dissapointed?!

Ellen is funny and a good addition, but the contestants this year just aren't that great.

I definitely fast fwd through most of it. I don't get the hooplah and fasination with that one guy with the long blond hair....not attractive!

I DEFINITLY agree. Im an extremem american idol fan and as of right now I have absolutly NO favorites. Hopefully next week someone stands out because this week was horrible! The guys were even worse than the girls and I usually think its the other way around. Guess we shall see...

I totally agree! I'm hoping someone breaks away from the pack and starts doing a good job because they all seem to be really bad this year!

every year they are pretty bad the first week though, thats why I said the girls are decent, but the guys were painful....

The blonde guy is not that hot, but he was the only guy who sang on key.

And was it me or did the guys make the take the making the song your own thing a little too far? Your not supposed to write your own off key melody.

I agree I think it's booooring so far. . and thought the auditions seemed better. .. last night I thought the boys were really just mediocre all around . and the girls were marginally better but no one who really WOWED me. . maybe they all just had first night jitters and it will get better!

I agree.... but I always feel like the first three weeks or so are never very good. Once they get the Top 12 it usually improves a lot.

I hope so, I was really looking fwd to it being back on and if it doesn't get better I don't know if I will watch it until the end.

I have this weeks shows all on DVR, haven't gotten around to watching it yet.

Maybe I should wait till they get to the top 12.

Seriously, America is retarded. Can I say that or is that really un-PC? Sorry...

Well, I just hope it gets better as they go on... I cannot understand how the country-singing black girl with the lisp made it through but the two most beautiful women in the competition were eliminated.
