we went on safari - woke up for the first six days right after our wedding at 5:30 in the MORNING. i was incredibly tired and cranky and this led to some tension b/w us. anyone else get into a tiff? just wondering.....i know it's a taboo subject.
I think we had a little tension when I wanted it to be the 2 of us only all week and he wanted to call home.

Re: anyone fight with their husband on their HM?
We had an 11 night honeymoon and there were 2 or 3 points maybe where we argued... One of them was the morning we left for the honeymoon we had gotten about 3 hours sleep after the wedding and due to a problem with our plane reservations and DH 'NEEDING' to get breakfast we almost missed the plane.. There was definately tension in the air that morning.

No, we didn't argue at all, BUT we did get bored, how's that for a taboo subject? We were so ready to come home by the end of the week. We just missed our families and what not.

Re: anyone fight with their husband on their HM?
Yes, the first day we got there I was ready to have fun, go out dinner, tour St. Thomas and get a drink. He went straight for the bed . I understood that the night before was our wedding and that we only got 3 hours of sleep, but we both slept on the long plan ride and it was our HM! So, he was tired and cranky, so we has a little tiff on first day no less . But it happens to a lot of people. My bf and her husband got into a huge fight where he was drunk and cursed her out and then walked out. So, I guess mine wasn't so bad.
We also, got a little bored towards the end of the week.

No, but our honeymoon was tense enough. We were in London during the first bombing. The tension surrounding the city made us quickly dismiss any minor disagreements we otherwise might have gotten into. We had a 'unique' situation.

We got into one fight the whole two weeks. We were running late and DH was moving in reverse as usual and it was annoying me. It didn't last long.

Re: anyone fight with their husband on their HM?
not while away but on the way home from Africa after traveling for 43 hours we got into a little tiff on the cutoms line of what to do next since we were rerouted to Newark and there was 2 feet of snow on the ground. We were both tired, cranky and dirty and 6 hours late arriving back in America.
My friend and her DH had a BIG fight at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii and she left with the rent a car to go back tot he hotel. She ended up feeling bad and going back to get him and he was gone. He had gotten on a bus back to the hotel, which took over 2-hours to get back. She was worried sick that he left her forever. They made up shortly afterwards

Re: anyone fight with their husband on their HM?
We were away for two full weeks and about two days before we came home we did get into a fight. I really wanted to go into town and walk around, get lunch and just be a toursit. DH had agreed, but he got drunk the night before and was completetly demotivated that morning. I was so pissed because I felt like we did everything he wanted to do the whole time and he couldn't just suck it up and do what I wanted. We wound up getting Burger King for lunch, I was so annoyed!

We got bored too and it really upset me for a while. We just wanted to come home and start our married life.

I wouldn't say we got into any fights - maybe a few 'little' disagreements!!!

We did get into little fits (after day 6 also! ) but I think it's because we were drunk all the time and I get feisty when I drink!

haha We had one or two of those two... they were more like 'debates gone bad' that we would get into at happy hour....

DH got upset at me when my hour at the spa turned into 2 1/2 hours (i decided to get more than one thing-teehee!)...he said he felt like we were spending the HM apart...it was kinda cute, because he really just missed me. he just need some attention!

YES, but we realized we were on a beautiful tropical island and we were wasting time being mad at each other.
