anyone fight with their husband on their HM?

Original post by FunBride

we went on safari - woke up for the first six days right after our wedding at 5:30 in the MORNING. i was incredibly tired and cranky and this led to some tension b/w us. anyone else get into a tiff? just wondering.....i know it's a taboo subject.

Most likely I was probably just being stupid, loud, and obnoxious and it was annoying her.

I don't believe that for a second!

Amen sista

Hey... again... at least I admit it.

I also think part of the problem with long honeymoons is.... a lot of people will get 'bored' after like 6-7 days. I know I was having trouble finding things to do by day 7 or so. Even my wife who had every intention of just RELAXING and doing nada on our HM... was eager to head back home.

Totally normal IMO.

I honestly don't even remember but Im sure we had some kind of fight in two weeks. Obviously not life shattering.

I don't trust couples that get along all the time. Its not natural - haha..

I totally agree - couples that don't disagree seem unnatural to me, too! After I saw this post, I actually went home and asked my DH, b/c I couldn't remember - he said, we must have had a tiff or two, but nothing that meant much. (He has a better memory than I do. )

We did because my DH got sick (he is soooo pitiful when he's sick) and he had gotten an ear infection.... so he was limping around for a day or two - (I didn't realize that ear infections make you limp! ) So that caused a little tension, so I went and sat in the pool and read while he slept for a day and a half..... I didn't want to waste any time - we had a 2 yr old at the time and I didn't get much free time! Can't expect everything to be Perfect!

I just wanted to add that the problem with this was that my DH only remembered that I was 'mean' to him while he was sick, he doesn't remember the rest of the time that was AMAZING!! MEN!!!
