Anyone NOT doing anything special for Vday

Im just curious..what is everyone doing? What is everyone not doing?

We arent doing anything special...prob. go watch a movie and have dinner

We're not really doing anything. DH said he is prob just gonna cook me a nice dinner and we'll watch a movie or something. All the restaurants are gonna be insane and who wants to deal with that?!

we are going to a nice dinner in the city on Friday the 13th. Saturday we are not doing anything. DH will probably have rehearsal all day for an upcoming show. I think he does on Friday too- but I told his group that they have to give me one day or I'll get mad at them. LOL.

don't know yet....i don't think anything crazy.....maybe we'll go out for breakfast or brunch instead of dinner - anywhere good is probably going to be crowded for dinner and i don't want to deal with that.....we never made reservations anywhere so who knows - maybe we'll just order take out

we're moving into our house on Vday, so that'll be all we do. we'll be sharing pizza w/ everyone who helps us move, and that's about it. our one year anniversary is 3 days later, so that's when we'll celebrate.

How exciting! I would def. rather be moving in our home instead of going out for dinner and a baby on the way!! Awesome!

our friends invited us over for dinner on saturday night- not really what I had in mind for v-day, hopefully we will do something just us on friday though but dh hasnt said anything- he's not a good planner

Probably not we are moving that day so it will be hectic...I will probably cook a nice dinner on Sunday night instead.

We are not. I will be on LI (we live upstate) and he will be upstate. Also, its our first as a married couple but our 10th as a couple so no biggie!

Not sure what we are doing yet, I asked to be surprised. We usually just order in and hang out.

not that i do not always cook, but i will cook an extra special dinner and then we are finally going to watch our honeymoon!!!!!!!!

DH is working, so dinner most likely when he gets back.

Btw, Denise we called 718 and they are taking reservations for 5:30, 7:30 and 9:30 - so I asked the guy who picked up the phone when it would be the least crowded.. he said 7:30 most likely.. if DH gets back home on time then 718 it is!! Thank you my dear, the menu looks fabulous!

this vday on a saturday is messing up my birthday lol. My bday is Feb 15th and bc of vday hard to do much. Dh wanted to go to AC and now im annoyed that i said no.

DH and I never really do anything special. It's just not that important to us.
I was thinking about not doing anything, but last night I realized that I should probably invite the IL's over. So I suppose I will be making dinner and dessert for everyone and have the IL's over on Saturday. :)

Oh YAY so glad to hear. Honestly for V-day, 718 is MUCH better. NOw i love crabhouse food is amazing but 718 is more romantic while crabhouse is more casual. Did you see pics of 718 online? lights off and just lit by candlelight and small dimming lights as decor, very modern decor, more of a black & red theme. Plus the food is different and not something you can get anywhere so thats good.

OMG i hate that! My birthday is so close to Christmas that the restaurants are always so crowded!

Last year it took over two hours to get from HB to Roosevelt Field ( to go to Ruth's Chris ) and I cried the whole way!

This year was perfect though, since it snowed everyone canceled and we had an empty restaurant to ourselves! The only thing that stunk was I couldn't wear a cute outfit since it had to match my snow boots!
