this vday on a saturday is messing up my birthday lol. My bday is Feb 15th and bc of vday hard to do much. Dh wanted to go to AC and now im annoyed that i said no.

OMG i hate that! My birthday is so close to Christmas that the restaurants are always so crowded!

Last year it took over two hours to get from HB to Roosevelt Field ( to go to Ruth's Chris ) and I cried the whole way!

This year was perfect though, since it snowed everyone canceled and we had an empty restaurant to ourselves! The only thing that stunk was I couldn't wear a cute outfit since it had to match my snow boots!

it really does S*CK and even in the past i always had to plan birthday's around v-day bc of course nobody wants to come out for your bday when its vday bc youre ruining their vday lol. If its on a weekday its fine but weekend s*cks and i wont be the one who ruins everyones vday. I dont even really care to do anything this year for my bday but still.

Sorry, i can see how its a problem for you too but glad you got lucky this year. Maybe it will snow more often on your bday hopefully lol.

DH is working, so dinner most likely when he gets back.

Btw, Denise we called 718 and they are taking reservations for 5:30, 7:30 and 9:30 - so I asked the guy who picked up the phone when it would be the least crowded.. he said 7:30 most likely.. if DH gets back home on time then 718 it is!! Thank you my dear, the menu looks fabulous!

Oh YAY so glad to hear. Honestly for V-day, 718 is MUCH better. NOw i love crabhouse food is amazing but 718 is more romantic while crabhouse is more casual. Did you see pics of 718 online? lights off and just lit by candlelight and small dimming lights as decor, very modern decor, more of a black & red theme. Plus the food is different and not something you can get anywhere so thats good.

it looks lovely, i have never had french food w/ a spanish twist, so this will be tres' interesting!

DH and I will likely be doing jack...and shiiiiit. lol


our dating anniversary is the next day---we usually don't do much for v-day at all.

we're going to a dinner theatre that night. They're doing the 'The Producers' which is Colorado's version of Broadway Soo excited. DH isn't really into plays, but i love them. I'm so happy he's taking me

it is AWESOME!!!! dh always gets the ceviche for app and loves it, ive had the crab cakes which were great and also last time had this shrimp app which was great. For dinner ive had their salmon with black truffle foam which was great, the steak is good, have had the ravioli too. ALmost anything will be great. The presentation is awesome too

its alot more intimate so dont worry about getting crowded and def ALOT more romantic, great ambiance for v-day actually

I'm going to a make a surf and turf dinner. And a chocolate cheese cake.
