its about a husband and wife - and the husband travels through time - so he'll just disappear out of nowhere and the wife always waits for him to come back....i dont want to give too much away in case you read it.....its an awesome awesome book.....my dad liked it too but thought it was a little hard to follow but DH and i didn't really get confused at all when we read it - i think my dad is just getting old and would forget stuff in between readings

At first it felt a little hard to follow but I would stop and just explain to myselfIm midway through the book. The firs night I opened it, read 200 pages. I could have kept reading but I had to be up early. It really pulls you in. Cant WAIT for the movie.

we read the book i think in the spring or summer - so we are dying for the movie to come out - it was supposed to be released december 2008 so we were hoping we could see it on our HM but it never came out![]()
im also waiting for the movie for lovely bones - that was a good book too and mark wahlberg is going to be in it as the dad![]()

OMG I dont know how I would get through Lovely Bones. I barely made it through the book. I heard Time Traveler's Wife was pushed back for one reason or another. I hope they dont kill the book with a bad movie.

Wow I didn't know they were making a movie for lovely bones... great book, some parts are too difficult to get through (gory), but very sentimental book.... i would never have pictured mark wahlberg playing the dad lol

So true! some movies never do the book justice.
Love that book. It took me forever to read it because I couldn't freakin follow it, haha. But in the end I thought it was amazing.

that is the only reason i want to see the movie b/c of him hahaha - and im also curious about what the movie will be like - i guess b/c the book was hard to read and sad so im just wondering how that will translate into the movie - like if it will be gory or not? that was a good book, very sad though....

So true! some movies never do the book justice.DH and I read twilight on the HM and went to see the movie when we got home - DH HATED the movie - he was so mad when we left the theater
it was funny though b/c all these little girls were complaining about the movie and DH was right with them saying all the same stuff they were....i was like babe, you are a dork
I heard Twilight was really bad. Like an MTV movie. But thats a tough call because I heard twilight is mainly geared towards teens. SO a lot of adults were disappointed at the movie. I dunno, I have no interest in reading Twilight anymore.
