i am looking for a 2 bedroom apartment complex either in nassau or suffolk but not too far east- i would say the furthest is west babylon. i would like one that has a washer/dryer in the unit , pool, tennis court, parking. Any ideas?

Re: apartment complex
The avalons have all that (i live in the one in glen cove north) though depending on where u are looking they charge a ridiculous amount of money to live in...i think the glen cove north one is the cheapest
Most apt buildings dont have washer and dryers in the apartment (ive looked at a lot of buildings) I think the avalon was the only one that did

The Avalon just opened up an apt complex by me in Coram, and get this...they only give you one parking space, and charge you $150 A MONTH for a 2nd one
I saw 2 gorgeous brandy new Apt complexes on Sunrise in Massapequa, I didn't catch the names because it was nighttime, but man were they gorgeous!!!

Re: apartment complex
Try the Harbour Club. They are located in West Babylon, just South of Montauk Hwy. I lived there for three years, just before moving in with DH. They don't have tennis courts, but they do have a pool, rec room, and are dog friendly. There are water and golf course views and I hear now they have washer and dryers in the apartments. They didn't when I was there, but I hear the kitchens have all been upgraded to cherry wood and included washer/dryer units. When I lived there, I paid $1500/month for a one bedroom, eat-in-kitchen, with DR/LR and terrace. It was 1000/sq feet and had water views. The people there were real nice and I loved the place. Sometimes, I still miss my apartment!! Good Luck!!

The New Community in Coram (Avalon at Charles Pond) has general parking, not assigned parking. They is only a charge if you want to rent a garage....there is no charge for extra parking....there are avalons throughout the island that are priced according to their local area...the one in smithtown and melville also have affordable housing programs, The community in massapequa that I believe you are referring to on Sunrise Highway by the mall are condos for purchase, they are not rentals. Avalons are a great way to go if you want everything right at your fingertips.... HTH

Re: apartment complex
When i lived in Long Beach, we lived in sea point towers it was a coop building but sometimes the owners would rent out their apartments
we had a large 1 bedroom 1.5 bathroom, with washer dryer in the apartment, balcony, 2 pools, jacuzzi, doorman parking garage
