Are you still as close with the girls in your bridal party?

I know I'm not the only one who had some disappointing BM. I was just wondering if you remained as close with them as you were before the wedding. I'm still friends with mine, but I make much less of an effort.

ETS- I had my sis as MOH, my SIL, and 4 friends. One of my friends I'm still just as close to It's hard for us to get together often, but I know she's there. The other 3 I have been really close to for a long time. All 3 of them were a little shady at times through the planning process, but one much more so than the other two. I feel like I haven't spoken to any of them that much since the wedding, because the three of them are like a package deal. Don't get me wrong, we still speak. In fact we're exchanging our Secret Santa gifts this weekend over brunch (it's just the four of us), but I can't help that I still feel resentful.

Good question. Because I only had 5, and 3 were sisters (my sister was my MOH and then DH's 2 sisters), we stay in touch all the time. The 2 friends were my 2 best friends and I talk to them every other day at least. Unfortunatley, both live in CT so I don't get to see them as much, but we are very close. One just had her 1st baby and the other is pregnant with her 2nd. I really wanted to have 2 other friends in the wedding as well, but my husband only wanted 5 and we both wanted to keep it even. The other 2 friends were both readers, but I am still very close with both. So I am pretty lucky in that sense.

Yes I am. I talk to them on a regular.

I am still close to two of them (Matron of Honor and Bridesmaid) but my Maid of Honor moved to FL two weeks after I came home from my honeymoon and we don't speak much. I think she is soul searching and trying to make a new identity for herself, so I think she is distancing herself from other friends.

DH had his brother, my brother and his best friend/my close friend (ie. the guy who introduced us) and they all still talk.

My MOH is the top MOH thank goodness she has moved on to planning and helping with another friends wedding....after the wedding I needed to de-wedding myself really, she only bugged me for my list...ugh I could not go thru the planning again...we talk on the phne and email thats it....

We are all still close. I see three of them practically every week and the one that lives in Mass. I see once every two-three months

Hmm...I would say yes, for the most part, I am still close to BMs. Right now I think we are all in a place and time in our lives where there isn't enough time in the week to see each other as often as we all would like to. I see my BMs once to twice a month and talk and email as much as possible.
