As I get further and further away from my wedding, I find myself less and less interested in things having to do with weddings. I still like giving advice when I can on LIW - but looking at bridal magazines, or watching shows like Bridezillas really just doesn't interest me anymore.

I will still flip through bridal magazines in the supermarket, but just to see what's new for dresses and stuff. And I can't wait to go to my first wedding as a married guest (May 2007).

Not at all-not in TV shows about weddings, not in magazines, not even going to other weddings (though I think this will change because I have usually always liked going to weddings).
It's to the point where I can't believe I got that into it. But I did love it while it lasted!

I am still interested in weddings but to a different extent... I come on LIW-offer some advice... I have some friends getting married-that helps...but I just got a Bridal Mag in the mail (they are still coming without me paying for them) and I browsed it quickly and thats it...no more tv shows although they are funny sometimes

I understand. That's why I spend so much time on lifamilies because its not all wedding. But I do love giving advice or thoughts

Im over it, I've been over it since 3 months before my wedding.. the only thing I love is Bridezillas still. I cant give that up, I lvoed it before I was engaged - they're such crazy B!atches.
I also like giving advice to the other girls and need to do my review... Plus I cant get sick of looking at ppl proofs. So maybe im just over my wedding.

yes & NO. Depends what it is. Mundane little details - NO. A bunch of my friends & two of my cousins are getting married next year, so I have a busy schedule for 07. I dont mind giving advice at all. Im just not into Bridal mags, and tv shows anymore. No more weddings planned for the rest of 06

I feel like I'm so 'over' wedding stuff. I always said I would still try to stay on LIW and the Knot, but I feel like I have nothing to say now that my planning is over. I got the Knot bridal magazine in the mail the other day and just threw it away....

Since the wedding, I much more enjoy being able to be a guest and enjoy myself free from worry. thats about the extent of it.

I still like LIW (obviously!) but yeah, I'm over the flowers, magazines, etc.
However, it seems like a switch has been flipped and almost all of my friends are engaged now so wedding mode hasn't disappeared completely.

Yes and it's almost 1 year that I've been married
I don't miss planning just miss the actual 'wedding stuff' if that makes any kind of sense.

Definitely not.
It's funny because just the other day I told DH that I really hope none of our friends gets engaged soon because I don't think I could be excited right now. Or if I were to be excited it wouldn't be genuine and it's not because I wouldn't be happy for them - don't get me wrong. I mean I know that sounds awful but I'm just so over wedding planning in any capacity. I'd hate to have to watch someone else go through it all after I just got done after 1.5 years!
