Re: Aruba question for those who have been...

I just got back from my hm in Aruba. We stayed at the WYNDHAM. We did walk over and check out the nearby hotels including the HYatt. The beach looked about the same to me as far as people goes but we thought the Hyatt was a nicer looking hotel.

Truthfully we were about to sign on with the hyatt but changed our minds when we found out about the all inclusive that the Wyndham offered. We were glad we stayed at the Wyndham because we saved a good amount of money because all our meals and drinks were included. At the Hyatt, it would have been $700 more plus drinks, lunches and dinners. I think maybe breakfast was included but I am not sure, maybe not.

The food was good and we had a blast at the Wyndham.

I guess it depends on exactly what you are looking for. I would recommend the all inclusive because we would have spent a fortune more if we had to pay for all our meals and drinks on top of what we had already laid out.

Hope this helps!

Re: Aruba question for those who have been...

We went to Aruba for our honeymoon and stayed at the Radisson but the Hyatt was our second choice. I've heard the Hyatt is really nice. We chose not to do all inclusive since there are so many great restaurants to choose from.

I would go with the Hyatt, I would also go with the Radisson but I see it's not one of your choices and I don't want to confuse you anymore

Re: Aruba question for those who have been...

Just got back from Aruba on Monday... stayed at the Wyndham and visited the Hyatt... the beach was the same both places, Hyatt had a nicer pool, but they were both nice. Wyndham was cheaper...

Re: Aruba question for those who have been...

We went to Aruba for our Honeymoon. We stayed at the Whyndam! It was absolutely wonderful! We did ALL INCLUSIVE! (we travel no other way!) Thank god we did, it is very expensive there for food and drinks! I would definately recommend it to anyone! The pool is awesome, and the beach is really nice too!

They do a dinner on the beach, and you watch the sunset. We did that our last night there, I've got to tell you that was my favorite part, it was so romantic!

The food at all the restaurants is amazing!

Re: Aruba question for those who have been...

I stayed at the Marriott and had the all-inclusive plan. We went out to a few dinners, and a few were included. It's really expensive.... I think the Hyatt is a little nicer than the Whyndam.. but the Whyndam has nicer rooms (from what I hear).

Re: Aruba question for those who have been...

I stayed next door at the Raddison which was amazing. But my SIL and BIL stayed at the Hyatt and LOVED it. They said it was the nicest hotel on the island.

Re: Aruba question for those who have been...

We just got back from Aruba last week. Stayed at the Radisson and loved it.

If you are choosing between the two, go for the Hyatt. It is very windy by the Wyndham.
