what did you use for your final song??? And why’d you choose it?
I remember when I was researching for a song to use there were just sooo many options. You could go with something sentimental, funny, whatever. My sister had chosen that Frank Sinatra 'New York, New York' song because they are both such HUGE yankee fans, and since they play that at the end of every game, it was only natural to play that at the end of their wedding night as well.
As for ME - I used 'Cowboy Take me Away' by the Dixie Chicks because 2 days after the wedding, that country boy I married was taking me to live out West. lol. It was perfect. (our other option was 'I'm gonna go where the green grass grows' by Tim McGraw. lol)
I just think that the song you choose for your first & last dance usually says a lot about you. So I'm curious - what was YOUR final song?

Michael Buble's - Save the last dance for me.
We chose it b/c I LOVE Michael Buble, and it was a nice change from Donna Summer's 'Last Dance'

we chose (well, i did and i translated it for him) an Indian song.. pretty much means, no matter what we say to each other, no matter what the problems are i know that you will always be there.. no one else but you was there or will be there for me in this life..

I think the band played 'All night long' by lionel richie as our last song ... can't remember if that was 2nd to last or last. The band was great but didn't do a lot of what we asked, so I'm kinda about them ....

We didn't have a last dance lol DH didn't even want to do the first dance! He was happy he didn't have to dance anymore after the first dance. I just let him go do his own thing and danced with my girls :) I don't even remember the music that was playing half the time.
I don't even remember my DJ asking me for a last dance song lol Oh well. I don't know what I would've picked anyway :-/

I even felt awkward dancing slow in front of everyone for the first dance lol Towards the end of the night, I was too busy saying good bye to everyone and talking that I didn't remember to even get to that last dance!

We did a voice over 'Happily Ever After', I think that was the last song that was played. Everything is still a blur to me, I dont really remember.

Big Mountains Baby i Love your Way. Our first dance was peter Famptons version on the same song. We thought the Big Mountain version was a lot of fun to end with.

We did For Once in My Life by Linoel Richie and then it was supposed to go into New York New York - however the dj did an oops and somewhere in the middle of New York New York it went back into our first dance song -- which was also Frank Sinatra -- Oh well!
