what did you use for your final song??? And why’d you choose it?

I remember when I was researching for a song to use there were just sooo many options. You could go with something sentimental, funny, whatever. My sister had chosen that Frank Sinatra 'New York, New York' song because they are both such HUGE yankee fans, and since they play that at the end of every game, it was only natural to play that at the end of their wedding night as well.

As for ME - I used 'Cowboy Take me Away' by the Dixie Chicks because 2 days after the wedding, that country boy I married was taking me to live out West. lol. It was perfect. (our other option was 'I'm gonna go where the green grass grows' by Tim McGraw. lol)

I just think that the song you choose for your first & last dance usually says a lot about you. So I'm curious - what was YOUR final song?

Save the Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble. I love that song and thought it would be perfect for the last dance of the evening. The lyrics just say it all.

Our first dance was the Dixie Chicks Lullaby.

we used we are family, since both sides were considered family and everyone made a huge circle and be and DH danced in the middle it was so nice!

Michael Buble's - Save the last dance for me.

We chose it b/c I LOVE Michael Buble, and it was a nice change from Donna Summer's 'Last Dance'

I forgot... I would have to listen carefully to the background music in my video, as DH and I were saying our 'thank you's' on camera for our wedding video.

We plan on sending a copy of the video to our family and close friends.

I picked 'We Go Together' (grease) bec I love that song. It's a happy ending type of song I didn't want to be sad when my day ended (even though I was lol).

We picked 'Never Say Goodbye' by Bon Jovi. I LOVED it because all of my friends gathered whoever was left (including our parents) and they all formed a big circle around me and DH and we all sang and swayed to the song... it was awesome! And it's all on video.

Barry White - My First, My Last, My Everything...

We just wanted to end the night with a bang -- no break in the dancing or fun and it worked out really nice -- 99% of people were dancing up until the very last minute!! Just what we wanted!! The whole floor was jammed!
