At your wedding- dancing???

At your wedding- dancing???

Aside from mother/son father/daughter- dances.

Did you and FH only dance with each other or did you dance with other people?

I ask this because the photographers give off the impression that they do not want to see you apart for too long. FH and I love dancing together but I know for a fact that we want to dance with all of our friends.

I danced with my dh 3 slow dances and a couple of fast dances...other than that we moved around a lot from guest to guest or just in circles on the dance floor. I love to dance..he doesnt that much so I would say he mingled much more without me which was fine...we always found each other again for all the special moments and special songs.

I had a back injury so I only did my first dance, danced with my mom & dad.

DH can't dance even if he wanted too

Kiesha do what you like at your wedding, Have a blast. But never be too far from Winston It goes so fast!

A good photographer will get most of your pics done before reception so you are free to do what you want at your wedding & not have to worry about pics. He will also get you guys some good candid shots so you don't have to think about this.

we danced together ALOT! but we also danced with other friends and family. I remember dancing with my dad at least twice, his dad, his brother and a guy friend of ours. And of course for the faster songs, I danced with my friends as a group.

don't let the photographer script your behavior at your wedding.

We didn't leave the dance floor all night! Aside from the expected dances, we were mostly with our friends and family members. I also specifically remember dancing with DH for a few fast and slow dances too

We danced A LOT!

Overall, I would say we spent about 75% of the night together, 25% apart. I think that worked well for us considering the fact we have different friends.

I danced mostly with Luke but I also danced with my BMs and a few other friends and of course we did the big group dances all circled around each other.

My photographer didnt give me any instructions like that but if they did, Im sure I wouldnt have listened

We danced to like every song. We had a blast. Besides slow songs, I can say we honestly separated much of the night (but we are normally like that for some reason) but always found our way back to each other. The video is funny because we are dancing together in a circle of friends or family and then one of us always ditches the other to dance in another group. Also, everytime we danced for some reason a circle would form around us. Then we would grab random people in the middle to dance with us - I didn't like the circle because I hate the spotlight but they wound up being fun - dragging random people to the middle. One of our GM's was really sweet. He was so happy he got to dance with me. He said it was the first wedding where he actualy got to dance with the bride. It made him feel good.

Edited to say: My photographer never said a word about us staying together!

We danced just a few times. I danced with him, my dad and his dad and that was it. Darren and I are more the socialize around the dance floor type of people.

We danced, ask Jen, we danced by ourselves with other people and Lia captured it all. You just concern yourself with having fun

We danced many dances together. We only did two slow songs apart, which was nice to get to have a special dance with my FIL and a great uncle. DH and I were almost always within arms distance apart. We danced many faster songs with groups of friends. I often used my power as the bride to get friends to get up and dance. How could they turn the bride down? The photographer got so many great shots of the two of us dancing, plus we have wonderful photos of us with everyone else!

I danced more with other people than I did with DH but we were near to eachother most of the time. I mainly moved around from group to group. For the slow songs, I found DH.

Re: At your wedding- dancing???

We danced together a LOT. Actually, a few times we were the only ones on the dance floor!

For some reason, we didn't have a 'dancing' crowd. I think part of it is because we sat people at tables where they all knew everybody, and some people hadn't seen each other in a long time. So people were having too much fun at the tables and didn't get up to dance.

If I could do it over again, I would mix the tables up a little. That way the tables aren't so entertaining on their own, and people actually GET UP!!!!!!!

Grrrrrrr......
