I called my Dr’s office at 9am this morning, per doctor’s orders, to let them know how I was feeling & to get some blood work results. I told the nurse that the pox spread to my hands and feet (it was only in my mouth on Friday) . I just got a call back, at 3:47 pm, she said “you are contagious and you cannot be at work. We’ll fax over a Dr’s note.”

Um, could you have called me a little SOONER?????

Benadryl makes a great anti-itch gel. Cools as it dries.

I went to the Dr'ds office this morning to get my note & have them fax it to my work. The nurse said 'he (Dr) wants you to stay home all week. Enjoy!' So I'm going to the pool

its not the chicken pox, its Coxsackie (aka hand mouth & foot disease) Its like having the shingles but only in your mouth, throat, hands & feet
