Depending on how far this goes I might delete my posts for legal reasons. So please dont quote me.

But yeahhhh I'm going to kill him.

I never wish anything bad ever. And I was never a zilla with this guy but at this point he has gotten me so upset that I cant handle it.

He emailed me this after I sent him a very nasty email letting him know that I've had enough and I'm taking legal action.

'Hi Barbara,

I am truly sorry for the experience you're having with us. Unfortunately, due to circumstances not in my control, I was unable to get back to you earlier. Right now, I just wanted to assure you that your video is fine, and completed. I will e-mail you in the next day or two to arrange how we can meet, so that I will give you your DVDs. I am, once again, very sorry for the lack of communication.

Ummmmmmm OK really????! So a few days passed and he didn't email/ call me like he said he would. Every time I needed to contact him I got an excuse. Here is a small list of what I can remember:
1. We were away on a shoot for 2 weeks ( When I called the month before my wedding to go over the final details. I couldn't leave a message b/c their voice mail was full).
2. We are having phone problems (again I was calling and couldn't leave a message b/c the voice mail was still full). This excuse went on for about 3 weeks.
3. We are changing numbers (the number was disconnected... STILL is 3 months later!!!!! And they still have the number listed on their website!) Wtffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff???!!!!! Oh and then the website went down and the emails were bouncing back to me!
4. Private/family reasons - OK since I'm a softie I'll give him that but do you see how the excuses are getting out of hand.
(That was when he promised to have my SAME DAY edit on-line after asking him since I got home from my HM. It was promised to be done by 9/4. Hiyaaaaaaaaaaa its freakin November! I've given up on that request!)
5. The one you see above. Problems that were out of his control. Um OK you own the place. ***?!

I cant wait to get this round of excuses! If he ever emails me back.

So I sent him an email saying... what date is good for you. He wrote back Saturday & Sunday. So fine... I set something up for Sunday afternoon.

My Mother and I go into the city and we get to the building. Thank God the security guard was a woman and she was amazing!
She tried to help us the whole time we were there! She even checked into the comp system there to see if anyone from Artline has swiped in since the 30th... which of course the haven't! At this point I was getting weepy and on the verge of fainting.
She called her manager who was no help at all. The manager was telling me to call them... I was like HELLO I CANT! Their number is out of service!!!!!!!! She said to come back during the week...... Great.

So I got home and sent this:

'Kevin,

Since I didn't hear back from you I went in to the city to your office just in case you were there and either forgot to contact me or just couldn't email me or call me back again. I love how its impossible to contact you! Michael came with me and he has been unaware of whats going on but I had to tell him today after you didn't show.
I really don't understand how you run a business in this manner. I feel like I've given you enough chances to make things right. I'm filing a complaint with BBB and will tell my lawyer to proceed.'

I lied to him about my DH not knowing lol.. I don't know why but DH made me write that part.
So last night I filed a complaint with the BBB. I'm going to call my lawyer.
And my Mom thinks I should go the help me Howard route.

So thats the story.... I have crazy emotions right now.... One moment I'm raging mad and the next I'm crying my eyes out.

I just really hope these a-holes get whats coming to them!

Sorry this was all over the place! lol My brain hurts!

I'm so sorry you are going through this.... But I'm confident you'll prevail. It sounds like you've kept a meticulous paper trail (emails are legal documents!) and if the guy said in an email that he has your video and it's completed, he is obligated to produce it. Have you contacted your lawyers at all in this process? What do they say?

I am hysterical crying now, knowing he is not going to get back to us...

Barb I don't get it. I believe in Karma but I don't think you or I have ever done anything to have to go through this...

Vin went to his home address and no one answered the bell (This was the brooklyn one that you originally told me about)

And now, I just feel so sick about it.

You and I have to take legal action. I paid in full because that is how they said they work, we had to pay before the day of... and now i feel like an idiot...

I think I will get a private investigator (Vins friend) on it right away because let me tell you, I don't think its going to end well.

Vins family has already begun to search for him...

Yes I wish you had. The whole family was over, all vins uncles, and they're big guys...

Definitely send me any pics you have of him. Trust me, I will facebook his a** all over the place and have everyone send it. Ill even make a Youtube video if I Have to and have everyone post it... I DONT CARE. I am not only tracking him down but I am going to saev all my tear and boogie tissues and throw them at him when i find him...

I will do the BBB now.
I agree about the Help me howard however, this is a memory that we can only have once, and the fact that someone is taking us and messing with our big day, is one thing I cant handle. Because I let go of alot in order to have the wedding i wanted...and i just, i dont feel like its right for us to have to deal with something when the wedding is over...
