How could he put you on such an emotional rollercoaster and then say 'forget about it'!!!!
I guess the only thing to say in his defense is that he seems to be going through issues of his own with his Dad being in bad shape. I still think you two should go and talk to someone. Is there any way he will change his mind about that.

Things are much better. I learned that he exploded on everyone that day. I think the reality of his father's probable death finally hit him & he snapped. He fought with his mom, brother & both sisters.

He has apologized and he is sincerely trying to make it up to me. He admitted he only said the divorce comment out of anger. I have made it clear that the next time he says it, he's out. He really hadn't been acting like himself lately. I've been with him for 3 years before the baby, so I know him and that wasn't like him.

This weekend our daughter got sick and had to go to the hospital with 103 fever. She's FINE but I think it snapped him back into shape. Now he's back to Father & Husband of the Year (which is what he was before all this).
