Best book you've read lately
I just read 'The Zookeeper's Wife' - a true story about the couple that ran the Warsaw Zoo in Poland during World War II and hid a bunch of Jews. It was really well written.

Thats SUCH a good book. I was able to hear him speak last year? Or was it previous year..I forget but he was quoting from that book. Its really good. If you're a teacher or even work with kids in any way, you will appreciate it. I love the part about the teenagers in Staten Island and the sandwich lmao.

I have to say I hated that book myself. It just didn't move me much. But then I'm a weirdo.
I read alot but I also read alot o f nonsense. I enjoy suspene fiction.
My FAVORITE author is Tess Gerritsen for crimminal fiction. Read The Surgeon and The Apprentice-both well written thrillers.

Its not scary but her books DO have some gruesome details. Have you ever seen the show Crimminal Minds? if you can handle that, you can handle her. She used to be a dcotor o she has great knowledge of medical terminology and situations so she REALLy makes things graphic. and she works well with ehr local police dept so her police scenes are some fo the best Ive ever read. very believable characters that make you realize some people are just TWISTED mofos.
