Breakfast

What do you normally eat for breakfast? Where do you eat it - home, during the commute or at work?

I need to find something that I can travel with or leave at work. I don't have enough time in the morning to eat at home anymore.

Re: Breakfast

I usually buy those little flat thin little circle bread things. I forget what they're called, but it's just enough bread for the morning and I usually put some jam or nutshell on it. Or, I'll take one of the Greek yogurts on the road, they're pretty filling. Sometimes the hubby cooks us some egg whites and we put it on a piece of whole wheat bread and take it with us on the road. It's always while we're commuting though and when I get to work, I'll have some fruit.

Re: Breakfast

I dont' really eat breakfast anymore (I know it's terrible) but when I did and I was working in the city I would grab a yogurt or a smoothie and have that for breakfast. It wasn't a HUGE breakfast but I can't tell you how much weight I lost when I was doing that.

Re: Breakfast

I never have time to eat breakfast at home and I usually drink coffee until lunch time which is BAD because I usually have a big lunch.

If I am hungry in the morning, I grab an egg roasted tomato sandwich from pret a manger. 300 calories and it's yummy. or I make oatmeal at work with a scoop of PB.

We did get a juicer at my shower and I really need to use it or DH will be right (do we REALLY need a juicer?)

I used to this at my old job...but I had time to eat at home first. Do you think a yogurt would travel well?

Re: Breakfast

I just tried the blueberry waffle egg & sausage sandwich from Duncan - before I was pregnant it sounded weird, now, it's practically my morning ritual. It is SOOO good.

Re: Breakfast

I usually have breakfast at home- egg white omlette with peppers and onions. I have it with a side of whole wheat toast. I like to eat breakfast and relax a little in the morning.

There's one 2 doors down from me and about one every other block I seem to walk in.

The cold soups don't sound the best...one day I'll try the other soups they have. Their egg salad sandwich is delish too!!!!!!!!!! And I can't leave without a bag of chips!

Yes! Def travels well, at least with me it did. I would eat it usually walking into the station or even on the train if I was running a little late.

I'm thinking I could pack a little bag and it might actually be good when I get into the office. I normally get very hungry around 10ish.
