I don't know if this is something that is done. If not, I thought we could start it. We have a BOTW, so I thought we could do a BOTY. Everyone could send me their nominations, I could tally them up and we could do a poll with the top 3 to determine the winner. Any thoughts?

what is the criteria for nomination? Too many gorgeous brides, too many awesome weddings, too many awsesome people- how do you choose?

I agree with TAra. We need some sort of criteria. Not sure a BOTY is really a 'fair' thing because there are so many beautiful brides and everyone did things differently; spent more, spent elss, did special traditions etc.

I think its a good idea, but I think it would be much better if you did a bride of the year for each category.. Like most unique dress or beautiful dress... Most beautiful flowers, coolest pictures, etc.

great idea Heather! My memory is fuzzy but I wanna say something like this was done in the past....I could be wrong though.
ETA: I just did a search and they had an LIW awards for 07ers last year. But it wasn't all that related to our weddings - it was more like 'Most helpful poster,' etc etc.

Yea I like that idea. I think it needs to be elss vague because sooo many brides here were wonderful in their own way as far as dresses, decorations, unique funky things they did like Goth Bride and her Halloween theme, etc.

Yay! I started those awards last year! And I totally forgot about it this year, I guess 'cause our boards were so slow and I hardly got responses from anyone last year anyway. It was a little disappointing
