Buttermilk Fried Chicken
I've got my Williams Sonoma 'Chicken' book out and I've always zoomed past this recipe bc we like to eat really healthy and clean during the week. Tonight I stopped just to take a peak at what is involved bc I couldn't escape the lure of the picture of fried chicken...Well, it says that I can substitue low fat plain yogurt for the buttermilk. Then it calls for: rosemary, garlic, thyme, sage, and cayenne pepper....I'm gonna use olive oil and pan fry the chicken.
I'll let you all know how it turns out!
ETA: DH likes to eat healthy and 'clean' during the week....I am FAR more flexible than he is and always up for a splurge

I like your update. I try to eat better during the week, too. It's the only way I can balance out my weekend binges. Enjoy it tonight!
