calgone take me away...(update: I need something stronger)
the STRESS is building! There are so many unknowns associated with this move that its just killing me. All these variables dependant on one another, and yet nothing can be known now. AAAAAAAARHHHHHH!I can feel my shoulders clenching up. Al's job is stressing him out and his lack of job in NY is adding to it. Generally we take turns getting stressed out, but I think we're both a bit overwhelmed at the moment.
He's considering staying with his current company for a month or two (flying back and forth every other week) but I think just having that out there as an option is adding to the confusion.
I just want it all decided NOW
(and if one more person tells me 'don't worry, it will all work out' - I'm gonna SCREAM!)

Re: calgone take me away...
Ouch! I feel your stress from here!
I'm sorry you're feeling this way. Does it help to hear that it's totally normal to feel so stressed when you're about to put your entire life into a major upheaval?I am THE WORST person when it comes to moving my home...it really bothers me...so, I totally understand why you're beside yourself right now. Just keep venting (and letting calgone take you away!
) and you will get through it a stronger woman!
Think of it this way...the worst that can happen is you either delay your move a couple of months, or Al commutes across the country for a little while.

Re: calgone take me away...
I don't know the full situation but I am assuming that he doesn't have a job lined up yet. Has he checked Monster.com and America's Job Bank (unemployment recommends this one). Gave it to a couple of friends in CA FL and NY and they all found jobs.

Re: calgone take me away...
I just wanted to add some support. It is never easy when both of you are feeling stress. Sometimes we go see a funny movie and just not worry for 2 hours. Go see Elf and give yourself a 2 hour well deserved break.

Re: calgone take me away...
With so much involved in a move to begin with, I can't imagine how stressed you both must be. The sheer distance alone must add to your headaches!
Hang in there!
