can i vent...

okay sssooo im about to loose it on someone if one more person asks if we are gonna have a baby or kids or whatever they want to say.

NO I AM NOT READY

NO I DONT WANT TO BE UP ALL NIGHT

NO I DONT WANT TO STOP DRINKING FOR 9 MONTHS

NO I DONT WANT TO BE HEAVIER THAN I ALREADY AM

NO I DONT WANT TO HAVE TO SPEND ALL MY MONEY ON DIAPERS FORMULA AND CREAMS


UGH! I am sooo done w/ this constant question of 'when you gonna have a baby...' BS im gonna loose it

vent away!!! I get it too....especially since I am 30, I am a teacher, and DH and I have been together for 14 years everyone asks all the time and I dont know if I EVER want kids!!! People always get that shocked look when I say we dont want kids....they are always like REALLY???

Not everyone has kids right after they get married.... I don't get it!!!

I am with you! I get that ALL the time.

This is what was working for us (till i got knocked up)

'We've been considering it but there seems to be a problem' and then people never asked again

So when are you planning on kids?

I am too selfish. I love the time that DH and I have together- just us. We can do whatever we want, have fun, travel. Come and go as we please.

Not ready to give that up!

me i have the opposite problem everyone things its a good idea for us to wait...but im ready right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol its just as annoying the other way around! either way if people thing the opposite of what you do its going to piss anyone off!

Vent, vent, vent!!!! People ask me and when I tell them NO MORE KIDS they wish a baby girl on me. I tell them fine I'll have a girl just for you and you can finacial support them whiel I raise them

We're in the opposite situation, trying but having some trouble. But the same questions are just as aggravating! I don't get why people think it's appropriate to ask these kinds of questions!

I was out with bronchitis one day from work, and all of my students decided I was having a baby. They even decided it was a girl, and went so far to name the non-existent child Claire. You just have to let it roll off your shoulders.

Our families are luckily wonderful though. My mom is granting me a 1 year grace period until she asks questions .

people are so rude. my sister's MIL is putting SO MUCH pressure on her and my BIL to have kids. its so inconsiderate. if / when you are ready you'll have kids! back off people!

We haven't been getting asked so much....I think people are curious in general, but nobody's really pressing us for it..

Everyone knows we're selling 2 apartments and working like lunatics (plus now with my promotion) and getting more established....and when we tell them 'hopefully by the end of 2010 we'll get pregnant' they get their answer and say 'great'.
