i was torn too between a closeup or a further away full length with scenery (which seemed more like what i was used to seeing for a thank you). but i just went with what i liked best, a closeup, because as a guest, i would like to see a closeup too, but that's just my opinion!! i can never seem to get 2 pics on one message so first the full length..

It will be one of these.....mine are more scenic since the picture will be printed directly onto a 4x6 foldover card - since it's large, we didn't want a close up.

I'd post mine but I have scan it which I'm feeling tremendously lazy about doing. But my opinion is that I think your guests will like the picture where they can see your faces, a close up rather than a more scenic shot. That's not to say that the ones that are further away aren't beautiful but they like to see a bit of detail, I know I like those shots when I get a TY. HTH

Ours is in my profile too, definitely not a candid shot, I wanted to use a full picture so you could see my gown, but the photographer said you wouldn't be able to see our faces! that's ok.
