Re: Conga line
My DJ was under strict instructions to NOT do a Conga Line. I absolutely hate being pulled into a conga line.

Re: Conga line
I love the conga line, it was to Calypso music and you know my husband is Trinidadian so we could not do without it, when I say eveyone joined in, everyone did, the entire room was in on it. I enjoyed myself immensly

We did and I loved it!!!!!
We also had the Chacha slide. Call me tacky
My dj know how much I loved it, he had to do it 2x for me so I join you in the tacky band wagon oh well, people are still talking about all the fun they had, from the youngest to the oldest. Some things will get people to participate and if you don't have it they might never get up. The crowd we had danced to every thing they needed no invitation

Re: Conga line
Curly just for you, how low can you go, can you go to flo'
Here I am leader of the pack with my hubby in tow leading the conga line. This thread brings back such sweet fond memories for me. *wipes away tears of joy*
We did. It started with several guests. It was fun being the leader and my groom second in command followed by our wedding party members! It was fun to be the center of attention when people are staring at my dress, etc. We were truly the king and queen and all eyes were on us for once!
This picture was taken by my bro. was is not good at taking pics and was really slow at the shutter. If I hadn't turned in this pic I would have knocked our band because I almost danced to them.
People at my wedding took it upon themselves & did it, they had a ball and so did I watching them
Same here!

We reaaaalllly weren't going to. Then it just HAPPENED out of nowhere, when my DH's 76 year old Uncle who can dance like no other MF on earth started one. It was HILARIOUS. He led the line out of the room into another empty room, tried to find the kitchen...but wound up back in our room, with a pot of flowers on his head.

Re: Conga line
I do, but I don't have them scanned. I'll try this weekend!
This man is notorious for the conga line mischief at family parties. He once did manage to get into the kitchen at a party, and came out with a slice of roast beef on a fork in his hand!
