Cosmetics Settlement

Did anyone go to the mall to get anything free? If so, What did you get?

My boss told me that the lines were out of control! What was this about? Could anyone have gone?

Re: Cosmetics Settlement

When I found out the line was roughly a 2 hour wait for 'sample size' products that weren't guaranteed to be there when it was your turn to persue the various tables,I didn't even bother going. Here I thought you could just pick whatever your little heart desired.

But they're smart, they're giving away small things that no one really buys, i.e. lotions, eye creams, body wash, etc. So it's not worth it to me IMO

I didn't look at the link yet, but it sounds to me like they were just trying to pull in business figuring once people are there they may buy something else. I sure as sh*t wouldn't wait two hours for samples. The girl I know in Lord & Taylor even told me before Christmas that they weren't as busy as usual.

ETA: It looks to me like they were probably left-over products they couldn't sell. For instance, I know some people may like it, but a lot of people don't really use perfumed body lotions.

I was in Macy's on Monday and saw signs posted about the class action lawsuit. Of course, I'm an idiot and didn't read it!
