Mine was at Desmond's Restaurant in the Inn at East Wind. The food waws awesome, and it would definately hold that many people.

My shower was at the New Hyde Park Inn. They can definitely hold 75 to 80 people. They also offer a package for bridal showers that includes the wishing well, umbrella, cake, punch. The food was delicious and I love the atmosphere there. My mom, my aunt, and my cousin all got married there many moons ago.

My shower was at Pompeii in West Hempstead. They have several party rooms to accomodate a party of your size. The food and service were great!

I'll second that place. My friends shower was there and I thought the food was excellent and the room was beautiful!!

Wantagh Inn in Wantagh. You have 2 choices - you can have the entire restaurant downstairs or the private room upstairs.

Great place, great food and great service.

my mom planned mine at milleridge inn....it was great and the food was really tasty - i was sick that day so i didn't taste anything

but everyone else is still raving!!!

Hunan Gourmet in Merrick. I barely ate anything, but from what everyone else said, the food was great. There is no way, however, that the back room could hold more than 30 people - tops!

I went to a bridal shower over the weekend at a place in Great Neck, Long Island called Vespa - the food was great and the place had a great ambiance - there are two sides to the restaurant - one is for parties and the other is the retaurant. Good Luck!
