Craft Corner: Has anyone done an engagement to wedding scrapbook?

I have a lot of 'stuff' that I would like to put together in a scrapbook - things like photos of the day we got engaged, photos of my shower, fabric scraps, the note from the president, our photo in the times, stuff like that...
so Im wondering if anyone has ever done anything like that before.

Im thinking of using a book like this:

Kolo Newport Album

and mimicking real scrapbook layouts in Photoshop on my PC with words and photos and spaces to glue fabric and cards to using this ink jet refill paper:

Inkjet Refills

So far I can do pages about:
- Day we got engaged
- Bridal Shower
- Bridesmaid Luncheon
- Finding 'the' dress
- Wedding Day

So I need some suggestions help on the following:

a) What else can I include? I'd like to make the book sort of like a journey from engagement to honeymoon but Im not sure what else I can put in there.

b) I need some elegant layouts I can use as inspiration, so please post if you have done one or have seen one.

Dubliner: Thanks but the only one I created is the 'willyoumarryme?' one...the rest are other peoples creations. And for the record, I do the more boring job ever having nothing to do with graphic design.

I was referring to the will you marry me, and the cards you made for the baby shower, etc. etc.

Oh ok...thanks! I just didnt want to take credit for work that wasnt my own :D

I think its because I work in job that is so much about hard numbers that I really like to do this sort of graphic design.

I am bigtime into scrapbooking - since before the wedding - I love it so much that I became a consultant for a particular scrapbook company.

I am not looking to sell you guys my products but I can answer your questions about quality of products - You wouldn't want to ruin your pictures or all of your hard work in creating the scrapbook.

I'd made ours in a binder without photos but things like invitation, menu, seating card, all vendor contracts, corresponding e-mails of compliants and compliments from guests, e-mails of congrads and best wishes, our registries, favors, guest list, etc. was put in our binder scrapbook. We have a separate scrapbook that devoted entirely to our pictures beginning with our engagement day until our post-wedding party.

I love all your layouts, Stef.
So are you going to just print the whole page out and mount it, or are you going to leave blank spots for the pictures.

Or are you actully going to put the entire page together from scratch?

there is a group on YAHOO that is for NYC Scrappers....that is what it is called. Do a search under Groups and put that is. They arent a very active group but do have some info there!
