now that everyone is married i want to know who cried and who's DH cried?
i got teary eyed a few times but the tears never fell - i had to really hold them in - i was so afraid of ruining my make up....i teared up the first time i saw DH, i teared up walking down the aisle, i teared up during DH's vows to me and during my vows to him (in a lot of the pics, and in our ceremony re-cap video i am making a monkey face b/c my lips are quivering )
my DH was teary eyed A LOT - he was tearing up as i walked down the aisle and i don't know how he made it through his vows b/c he was sniffling, crying, the works he had everyone in tears, even the officiant had tears! its was cute b/c half way through he had to take a break and he said 'WOW!' like making fun of himself kind of - and everyone was laughing - it was really cute....
i didn't think we would be as emotional as we were - i thought id get the nervous giggles and laugh or smile a lot - and i thought DH might tear up but i never expected him to be as emotional as he was - that boy must really love me ....

Re: Crying At The Wedding
I had to really try not to cry during the ceremony especially b/c DH was balling the whole time! LOL he's such a sweetie. He held it back while walking with his mom down the aisle but the pictures look so funny b/c they are both fighting back tears. Then he was crying when he met me at the alter and hugged my parents. I just kept smiling b/c i was so happy and also b/c of the makeup.

oh geezzz....i cried SO much! so stupid of me! my nose was red in half my photos! i held it together until i walked down the aisle and then i just lost it. the song we picked was so gorgeous and i had imagined walking down the aisle to it for so long that i just lost it. i mean, i was doing the ugly cry! DH is usually really emotional, but he told me he tried to hold it together since i was such a crying wreck....he got teary eyed a few times though. i think even our bridal attendant cried during our first dance....and my mom boo hoo'd during our ceremony! i'll post some pics if i can find them!

Joe was so emotional that day, he was crying from the morning on I was told. At the church he wouldn't look up till I was at the door and I could tell he was waiting for me so he could look, that brought tears to my eyes, I never fully cried but got teared up, he was also teared up by the time I got to him. Otherwise after that we didn't cry just laughed!

Re: Crying At The Wedding
DH cried the second he saw me. I too was teary eyed, but didn't weep -- I had self control too, for fear of ruining make up!
I did get more choked up during the actually ceremony, while saying vows, and then, later, on the dance floor, when a song reminded me of my dad.
It was beautiful.
My mom was really crying.

I didnt cry at all lol. BUT i did cry non-stop the week before so i really think i was just all cried out hahahha. Even 2 days before the wedding i had cried for 2 hours and for no reason, the day before while i was driving for hours all around the city i kept crying non-stop lol and couldnt stop. The day of i was just smiles all day from ear to ear, like when i saw dh i smiled and the whole time i was on the altar i had this real excited feeling and kept smiling at him.
DH teared when i walked down the aisle, he was biting his lip so he wouldn't cry too much, i did think to myself W** just let it out the pics are funny bc you see him trying to hold it in

Awww. I was afraid I was going to get the giggles!
We saw each other before the ceremony. When he first saw me and he said I looked amazing and kissed me, I got teary eyed. Surprisingly, I didn't walking down the aisle, but during the vows all of a sudden I started to get choked up and had to stop. I turned my head toward the priest and tried to pull myself together, I was like...ohh noo. I don't think my DH ever got teary eyed, but we had a laugh when at one point he blurted out 'Lord hear our prayer' too soon! He turned red, but he was laughing.

I was teary eyed a lot.... i held it in as much as i could and kepttelling myself 'dont ruin ur makeup!' I would not look at my parents the whole car ride to the church b/c i did not want to cry... in retrospect i feel bad now b/c that was pretty mean of me
Walking down the aisle you have to see my face in pictures...i look retarded b/c i was holding in my tears..... DH was teary eyed as i walked down...
We were both teary as we did our first dance..... also when we danced with our parents...that was bad news... i actually told my father 'Don't look at me and don't talk to me!' My family even heard me say it to him and they all started laughing

Re: Crying At The Wedding
I cried from the second I started walking down the aisle until we kissed at the end. Our friend got ordained so he could marry us so he, DH and I cried the whole time. It was a really touching ceremony since it was so personalized. Lots of crying...then lots of smiles.

i totally thought that would be me! i thought i would get a bad case of the giggles! its weird b/c i didn't imagine myself being that emotional - i didn't really get emotional when he proposed to me - so i was expecting to be the same way for the wedding, i really surprised myself.....i made A LOT of weird faces though, trying to hold it together and keep the tears from falling.....i have to post the pics one day, i got my pro pics last night but didn't have time to upload any of them yet

Aww, you're so cute! Your post the other day about this made me teary-eyed too. My father used to call me 'pissy eyes' when I was little that's why I'm shocked I wasn't crying throughout everything.

Haha Denise remember when I posted that I went to the RH the week before and I just cried all day. You said that would be it on the crying. I can't believe how much I cried in that week and that I still had tears left for the ceremony.

that is one of my favorite pics. But i was laughing not only bc she was crying at that moment but i found out she was the loud crier during the ceremony hahaha. Since i had my back to those on my side during ceremony i couldnt see, but i kept hearing someone crying so loud, and i even said to dh 'who is that?' i found out it was Helen and my cousin lol. But yeah i have a bad habit of laughing when others cry or when it should be a moment to cry i laugh

Re: Crying At The Wedding
we both cried like babies. in the pics you see me walking down the aisle crying, and you see DH all choked up as my dad hands me over to him. during the ceremony we were crying, and so were all of our guests.
but the most emotional part of the day was our reveal. we both cried a lot, DH was actually physically shaking. it was such an unforgettable moment.

Re: Crying At The Wedding
I am not really a cryer so it was no suprise that I didn't cry at the wedding. To be honest it would have been hard to cry with all the smiling I was doing.
I got a little teary eyed when I got up to the alter -- and again dancing with my Dad. DH such and emotional person so I was proud of him when he held it together when he saw me. I know he was teary eyed but he stayed composed.
Our first dance was more upbeat so there were no tears there -- however when I danced with my dad there was waterworks going on everywhere (we had a recording of my grandfather singing from my sister's wedding - he sang at all the weddings including my parents). So that got a few people because I didn't tell anyone but my dad that I had it.
