You know I thought the same thing. Unless there are girls who submitted videos and didn't want to share with everyone so never mentioned they applied?

I feel like the video thing was a great idea in theory and you girls made such awesome videos ... but I feel like it really alienated a lot of girls too. (Not me personally because I never would have applied to TWOTY either way.) I wonder if they will do it again next year.

No idea they said on or around the 17th so thats tomorrow. I am sure there are other girls who applied, but I couldnt see why they wouldn't want their videos shown!

I hope if thats all that applied, that they work something to make it the largest bridal party of the year and we're all chosen!! Because as we said before, I would love to be junior bridesmaid, heck I'm sure dh wuld be ring bearer!!

Honestly I was a little upset when I saw that you had to make a video because although I could have convinced DH to take part in TWOTY there was NO WAY I was going to get him to make a video… but that’s why I think it’s a good thing. I’m sure it’s so much more fun for everyone there to have a bride AND groom who are really into it, rather than just a bride who really wants to be there and a groom who was dragged there.

But obv it still ***** for girls who don’t have access to a video camera or things like that.

Exactly why we did it! You cannot tell from a picture if the couple really wants to participate. And we have had DH's that were less then thrilled to be there in previous years so we figured hey let's see the brides AND grooms to make sure they are both into the event and having a great time. Because if you and DH are not willing to make a video are you going to be willing to be center of attention all day, participate in all tasks you have to do beforehand, etc. We are very happy with the results. And if you didn't have a video camera someone even posted they would have been willing to help make the video.

As for TWOTY i think the video thing was a great idea and makes a ton of sense..we had a blast and can't wait to hear who gets picked...hope its all of us!

Dear Lazy DH....

I honestly wish your butt didnt just migrate from computer chair...the the bed...to the toilet...and back to the bed again. I cannot stand you eating in our brand new king bed...crumbs EVERYWHERE



Also, there is much to do around the house...so please start migrating your butt to do dishes.
