Describe how you felt as you walked the aisle & said I DO

Original post by KRISTYRUSSELL

So excitied, estatic, couldnt believe it was finally my time, said to myself, this is it, its your time, then feeling like holy crap yes this is really me about to get married, once the music played I was really overwhelmed, teary eyed, just a feeling I cant describe. So surreal & happy, felt like I was dreaming, kind of like living a fairytale, just all emotions mixed together one after the other. Each one showed in the pictures, smiles ear to ear, teary eyed, nervious, smiles again... We had done a lot of our pictures before hand so it made the walk up the aisle just a tad easier, at least I think it did. Our DOC Hollie got the picture of him when he seen me for the first time.....Love that photo...

Befor walking up the isle I thought I was going to throw up. But when the doors opend I saw my DH I suddenly felt completly relaxed and calm. Saying I Do was the most amazing feeling. I was laughing and jumping around.

I had a lot of mixed feelings.

I was very nervous - lots of butterflies in my stomach, and I was tearing thinking - this is it - this is the last moment in my life that I will no longer be daddy's little girl (I am the youngest)

I was also very excited, estatic, and happy. .. and the look on DH's face was priceless - he looked happy and nervous at the same time, and by looking at him, I felt his love inside of me.

I was also so nervous and happy looking at all the guests that went to church to see ME and DH get married - it made me feel really special and lucky to have so much love and support.

I was also a little sad - a little sad that I was leaving my parents to be alone, bc i knew they were gonna miss me, and I was going to miss them.

I remember feeling very excited and overwelhmed. I also remember thinking, 'Gee this aisle seems a lot longer than it did in the past. Find Evans face and focus on it don't look around. Man its hot in here wheres the dang a/c?'
Then it was all about 'Just look into Evan's eyes and repeat after the Msgnr. Don't pass out its almost over, OMG I can't believe the day is finally here, I get to marry gorilla'

Re: Describe how you felt as you walked the aisle & said I DO

I was in my own world. I remember being on the verge of tears and all I kept thinking was 'Just look at Bobby DH aka Robert) and you will be ok.
I remember the doors opening and my eyes locked onto his! HE just looked at me with this look of utter awe and amazement and he kept wispering wow and blowing me kisses.
I was doing really well until 1/2 way down the aisle my cathedral lenght veil snagged on something and I had to yell out 'I'm stuck' Everyone laughed, I became unstuck and kept walking.

I remember thinking the next day I really hope I was smiling and in every single one of my prroofs you can see my eyes completely focused on FH and a huge grin on my face!!

It was magical
